Jessie Cosentino received her BFA in dance from Western Michigan University in April 2009. As a Chicago
native, Jessie trained as a hip hop dancer with the Hip Hop ConnXion prior to relocating to Michigan. There she
co-founded one of the first campus branches of the Hip Hop ConnXion on the Western Michigan campus.
Within the department she was a dancer and featured choreographer for the performing ensemble, Western
Dance Project. She was also chosen to work with guest artists such as Lou Conte in his work, "The 40's" and
Ron de Jesus in his commissioned work, "Khamsin." Jessie moved to New York in September 2009 and is
pursuing her career in performance and choreography.
